The Gift Boxes collection at Baghpat House brings together rattan cane trunks and baskets, hand-woven and finished in our Gurugram workshop. Each piece is named for a Mediterranean coastal town — Hyères, Cassis, Polignano, Camogli, Sóller — a quiet nod to the wholesale buyers and retail patrons these objects are made for. The forms are built to be received and kept: a trunk that holds a corporate hamper today and stores linens or letters for years afterward, a basket that arrives full and stays useful long after.
