Currency and Pricing

All prices on baghpathouse.com are displayed in Euros (€). The price shown at checkout is the price you pay Baghpat House.

Your card issuer or payment provider may apply a currency conversion fee or a different exchange rate when processing your payment. These charges are set by your bank and are outside our control. We recommend checking with your card issuer before placing an order if you are unsure about conversion fees.

Payment is debited from your card at the time of order placement. We do not store full card details on our servers. Only the last four digits are retained so you can identify which card is linked to your account.

Store Credit

If you have store credit and are logged in to your Baghpat House account at the time of purchase, it will be applied automatically. You may pay any remaining balance with any accepted payment method.

Payment Security

baghpathouse.com uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect data transmitted between your browser and our servers. When SSL is active, a padlock icon will appear in your browser address bar and the URL will begin with ‘https’.

All transactions are processed through PCI DSS-compliant payment gateways. Your full card details are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

PSD2 Authentication (European Economic Area)

If your card issuer is based in the European Economic Area, you may be required to verify your payment under the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2). You will be redirected to a secure page to enter additional authentication or to authorise the payment through your bank’s app. Once verification is complete, you will be returned to baghpathouse.com to confirm your order.

Saved Card Details

You may choose to securely save your card details for faster checkout on future purchases. Your full card number will never be displayed — only the last four digits. You may remove saved card details at any time from your account settings. Consent to save card details is given explicitly by you at checkout; we do not use pre-ticked checkboxes.

Taxes, Duties, and Import Charges

Baghpat House ships from India. All international orders are dispatched on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis under Incoterms® 2020. This means:

• The purchase price you pay to Baghpat House does not include import duties, customs fees, or local VAT/GST that may be assessed by your country’s customs authority on arrival.

• Any import duty, VAT, or other charges levied at destination are determined by your country’s customs authority and are your responsibility as the importer of record.

• These charges are separate from and in addition to the price paid to Baghpat House.

We declare all shipments accurately with the correct HSN codes and commercial values on customs documentation. We do not under-declare values.

EU Buyers — GSP Preferential Duty

Natural-fibre and leather goods manufactured in India may qualify for reduced or zero import duty under the EU Generalised Scheme of Preferences (GSP). To support a GSP duty claim at customs clearance, we can provide a Certificate of Origin on request. Write to info@baghpathouse.com before or after placing your order if you need this document.

Indian Domestic Orders

Orders shipped within India include applicable GST at the rate prescribed for the product category. GST is included in the displayed price. A GST-compliant tax invoice will be issued with every domestic order.

Order Confirmation

Once your order is successfully placed and payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation by email to the address registered with your account. This email will include your order number, a summary of items purchased, the total amount charged, and estimated dispatch timeline.

Cancellation

Orders cannot be cancelled after placement, as we begin processing immediately upon payment confirmation.
