All Baghpat House products are handcrafted in India and dispatched from our facility in Gurugram, Haryana. Delivery times below are estimates from the date of dispatch, not guarantees. Actual transit depends on destination, customs processing, and courier capacity.

1. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 3–5 business days of order confirmation. Made-to-order or customised items may require additional production time; the estimated timeline will be communicated at the time of ordering.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 18), our default obligation is to deliver within 30 calendar days of order confirmation unless a different timeline is agreed at the time of ordering.

3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and dimensions. All prices on the Site are displayed in Euros (€) unless otherwise indicated.

4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

All international orders are shipped Delivered at Place (DAP). This means:

• Import duties, customs charges, VAT, and any other taxes assessed by your country’s customs or tax authority upon arrival are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

• We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

• Your local customs office can advise on applicable duties before you order.

• Refusal to pay customs charges may result in the parcel being returned or destroyed by customs. In such cases, shipping charges are non-refundable.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. If you do not receive this email within 5 business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder or contact us at support@baghpathouse.com.

6. Risk and Title

Title and risk in the goods pass to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order, or upon delivery to the carrier if you have arranged your own shipping.

7. Non-Receipt and Damage

Non-receipt: If tracking shows delivery but you have not received the goods, notify us within 7 business days of the confirmed delivery date. We will open a courier investigation on your behalf. Claims after 7 business days cannot be accepted.

Visible damage: If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, photograph the outer packaging and the item before unpacking further. Report to support@baghpathouse.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs. This applies to visible external damage only and does not limit your rights regarding latent defects.

8. Delays Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for delays caused by:

• Customs examination, duties assessment, or regulatory inspection

• Courier or postal service disruptions after dispatch

• Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses provided by you

• Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, war, government action, embargoes)

We will notify you as soon as practicable of any significant delay and its expected duration.

9. Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to most countries worldwide. However, we may be unable to ship to certain destinations due to trade sanctions, export restrictions, or courier limitations. If we cannot fulfil your order to your location, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
