The Bologna Leather Bag is handcrafted in India from full-grain leather. Baghpat House names this piece for Bologna, the historic Emilia-Romagna city at the heart of Italian craft.
Each bag is built by a single artisan using traditional saddle and finishing techniques. The leather is vegetable-tanned where possible, and the grain, tone and small surface marks are natural to the hide. No two pieces are identical; minor variation is intrinsic to the material.
Leather softens, deepens and develops a patina with use. The Bologna is intended to age — the piece you carry in five years will not look like the one you receive.
